Han møtte dem på talkshowet Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (hvor The Roots er husband) i fjor, hvorpå han erklærte sin kjærlighet til Brooklyn-bandet på Twitter. Nå melder han at The Roots har med seg tre av damene fra Dirty Projectors i studio, hvor de holder på å spille inn sitt sjuende album, How I Got Over.
Og gjestelisten stopper ikke der, som tidligere nevnt har The Roots også med seg Joanna Newsom og Jim James (My Morning Jacket, Monsters Of Folk) på How I Got Over. Mye indiekjærleik fra The Roots, altså. Ja, og så er John Legend med på et par låter. Kan ikke si annet at jeg gleder meg til å å høre albumet!
